This may come as a surprise to you but even in Dubai it can get cold. Which is why I think it is always good to have a quick and easy dairy free hot chocolate recipe on hand. Marzipan candy cane not necessary but a delish addition. My recipe for dairy free hot chocolate uses three simple ingredients that I am sure most people have in their kitchen. If you want a vegan version you can substitute the honey with maple syrup, agave syrup or just use sugar.
Here we go!
Dairy Free Hot Chocolate Recipe
1 cup oat milk, for a foamy version use soy milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp honey
Add all the ingredients to a small sauce pan and bring to a simmer while whisking. Make sure that no clumps are left and serve immediately. For larger groups just multiply the ingredients by the number of people.
Want to add some more flavour dimensions? Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
