For three days in a row I have been enjoying my home made chocolate + coconut granola in various combinations but today I decided to mix it up with a smoothie. Please give a warm welcome to Banana + Peanut Butter Smoothie.
This is such a warm, wholesome and filling breakfast smoothie option. Make sure to only use brown and spotty bananas as these will give you plenty of natural sweetness. If you feel that the smoothie is too liquid and you prefer a thicker smoothie just let it sit for 5 minutes and the oats will work their magic.
150ml oat milk
1.5 bananas, ripe (brown and spotty for the win)
4 dates, pitted
2 tbsp oat flakes
1.5 tbsp peanut butter, I used Mother Earth’s LSA Blend
Pinch of cinnamon
Blitz it all together and enjoy. Serves one
