Spicy Strawberry Salsa is so delicious and perfect for the hot Dubai (and Okanagan) summer. This is best made a couple hours before to let the flavours really blend. If you are not a fan of spicy peppers then you can substitute half a yellow or orange bell pepper or just omit.
400 gr strawberries, destem and chopped
1/2 Granny Smith Apple, chopped
1/2 small red onion, chopped
Small handful parsley, chopped
1 hot green chili pepper, remove seeds and chopped
1/2 lemon, juice
1 tsp honey
Ground pepper to taste
Mix all the ingredients together and keep in the fridge in an airtight container for two hours before serving. Before serving drain the excess fluid (which you can add some vodka to and make a cheeky drink ) and serve with tortilla chips. Enjoy!
