I am a major fan of vegan granola but I find that a lot of recipes or store bought brands contain loads of sugar. This vegan granola recipe is not entirely sweet (okay it is sweet) and innocent but it contains loads of healthy extras like oats, coconut flakes, pecans and pumpkin seeds. If you do not have maple syrup at home you can always replace it with honey or for a vegan option use any other syrup of a similar consistency.
This granola recipe is easy to use and can be a fun project with the kids. No electric kitchen tools (other than the oven) are need when preparing this recipe so go ahead and enjoy!
